We just visited for the first time yesterday! It was a truly amazing experience! Very very cool to be able to “step back in time” and be aboard a piece of history. We were able to go below deck (not all the way due to Covid) and see everything! We went towards the end of the day, we only had about an hour and a half to go through both ships and the submarine. I would recommend going early in the day so you can see everything and not have to rush through. I will admit I was kind of a “chicken” when going through the submarine because I’m claustrophobic due to it being such a tight squeeze to walk through but it was still amazing to be able to look in there! Definitely a must see, go early in the day. If you have small children(3/4 or under) or strollers it would be kind of impossible to go on the ships itself, because of tight spaces and steep steps. We felt honored to be able to be aboard these amazing ships/submarine. The guy that works on the ship was great and very informative! I could have sat and talked with him for hours. Oh and make sure your phone battery is fully charged because your going to want to take tons of pictures and videos! It’s about an hour and a half from where we live, about 3 hours (a little over) and we are going back today!!

Loved this place. Visited over Memorial Day weekend. Staff was nice and knowledgeable. Some areas were closed off due to repairs & COVID19 restrictions but overall the place was fun & interesting
