Great customer service, even when I wasn’t really a customer.

I got my bike tire repaired here because Cayuga ski and cyclery flat out refuse to do it. Great service and I was very happy with the price. I brought in my own tire and it was only $19.99 to fix. Very happy with foxy bikes and I 100% will be returning here next time my ebike needs servicing in the future.

We rented a couple electric bikes for a week ($410.40) and found the experience lacking. On day one the battery went 6 miles and conked out. Our instructions were to charge it overnight (Sequoia apologized for not charging it for us). The next day the range was little or not at all improved. Day three I brought it back to be modified with a different battery. Woo hoo it worked. Still it took transporting the bike back during the work day and waiting while the repair was done.I returned the bikes after the week. I was super disappointed when Sequoia asked for $40 to repair some looseness in the pedals he said we had damaged. I left wondering how a customer would not be insulted about all this.My afterthought is not so much the experience of below average service, rather the disappointment that I did not find the source to rent electric bikes that I would want for our community.Three stars: five for making available electric bikes, one for too many things going wrong that the shop keeper could have taken care of and didn’t.
