They serve Verve coffee (locally roasted); very good Nitro cold brew!

Hot chocolate was cold, overpriced donuts, not friendly service
Mark R
A bit pricey but flavorful and nice flavor combos.

Tasty donuts with creative names and culinary twists. A bit over priced for what it’s worth. I’d recommend Randy’s for value and overall experience.

The excitement ends when you bite in. Greasy pretentious donuts.

We’ve heard the fame of Blue Star Donuts. So when we walked pass this tiny outlet, we had to stop, especially when they also serve Verve Coffee! The donut selection were displayed like jewels – each on it’s own plate. So, instead of the instant turn off when you see trays of donuts stacked up that says too much fat and sugar, their excellent merchandizing did it’s job. We got sucked in. It is no longer a yes or no decision, it is which one should we pick. As a rule, I hate donuts because they are so unhealthy. But I made an exception that day to reward excellent marketing. I chose a jelly donut. After taking 15 minutes to brush/scrape off all the icing sugar on top, I remember biting into a dough that is light and spongy (not cake-like), with jelly filling that taste real and not too sweet. Yes, the rumours were correct. That was an excellent donut. It is worthy of pausing a healthy diet – just once!
