Place to meet student artists, actually artists of all ages.

I’ve always found these guys to be helpful, even the security guy at the front door tries to help answering questions with what he’s familiar with if no one else is available.

A million stars for this Design department. I came in with a huge, weird order for digital scans and prints of two dozen original collages of different sizes. They handled it with grace, the prints came out amazing, and zero damage to the originals!

Very helpful. I’ve been failing at a creative project for about 3 months and I walked into Blick only for the purpose of asking a few vague questions. I’ve never been in an art supply store until today. In about 5 minutes they were able to answer important questions like the ones I didn’t even know to ask. The associate walked me through my project start to finish, gave me suggestions, added clarity to what I wanted to achieve and the direction on how to get to that desired finish. The best part- the associate waited for me to do my wandering around aimlessly thing until I was ready to ask a question. He came out of nowhere and right up to me and casually asked how I was. Like two friends who happen to bump into one another at the art store. I was kind of embarrassed about the project, but he knew quite a bit about the subject, made me feel smart and that my endeavor was definitely worthy of my time and best effort. Thanks again.
