I called ahead, stated I was coming in and what I would need. Arrived, was dismissively ignored while owner carried on social conversation with some guy. 20 uncomfortable minutes passed, as there is nowhere to sit down in that musty used-bike junk room. I left and went to other bike shop, was treated graciously and professionally. This guy only apparently only wants business from certain people, & I failed the interview! Wasted my time but at least learned my lesson where to avoid going.

Decided it was time to update my wheelset and got a sweet price deal from Black River Adventurers Shop on a new set. Nice place to get stuff done, friendly atmosphere, lots of products. Used the gift certificate I won at the Spokerride – great that Black River Adventurers Shop supports local events also.
