Great chocolate & great vibes! I am not really one for posting reviews but people should know about this little gem right in Schenectady. The chocolate is not only delicious but also creative. So many fun dipped things and great bark combinations as well. I used them as favors for my wedding and they were a huge hit! The owner Heather is super friendly and helpful.This store is a labor of love and it really shows.

The shop owner is pleasant and the atmosphere is lovely! However, the chocolate made at home by the owner taste poor. It taste cheap and flavorless and though there are amazing concepts what is created within store, the quality to what is being put out ruins the point of what sells in store. Other things sold within the store are charming and very diverse and the vintage feel is otherwise charming. I really wish the in house chocolate was just better.

Some of the best chocolate I’ve had around the area, Heather is not only always creating new delicious creations… but she is also super friendly and helpful! She is always willing to go the extra mile, and think out of the box. I highly recommend ordering your custom chocolate creations from Bittersweet! She also helped create a chocolate with hops in it for a special occasion, 10/10!!!!
