I started Dave’s Fire Protection when I was 23 years old in 1979. After 26 years of business, I decided to sell my company to the Tyco Corporation and move North. After settling into our new home, I decided to start a mail-order business called Coast to Coast Tamper Seals. After doing that for ten years, my health started to take a turn for the worst, and I couldn’t move around large boxes anymore, so I had to stop doing that business. After a year playing around with my computer, I decided it was time to start something new. With the computer age developing at lightning speed I knew I could start a business with a website called BigDavesYardSale. With the knowledge I had selling fire equipment I knew what things that would sell quickly.
