The Brand “Big Lots” has ALWAYS been great until yesterday! After a long day for both my husband and I, we decided to stop at our local store on Airport road to pick up some of our favorite items. The shopping trip took less than 10 minutes and then we proceeded to check out. When I say I was appalled at the the treatment I received would be a complete understatement!NEVER, in the 20 plus years have I seen such disrespect towards a customer. The young lady behind the counter was not only unknowledgeable, she was down right RUDE and disrespectful! I simply asked why the discount was not apply since I a rewards member! She went on with her mean behavior and with no explanation as to why. Normally, I would have let things slide however her demeanor was snotty and unbecoming of an employee I have EVER encountered on numerous previous visits. Once she told me and pointed and said “STAY” as if I was a dog! I immediately was not having it! When I asked for a manager I was given a number and told come back tomorrow.The experience at this BIG LOTS ON AIRPORT ROAD is one for the books! Why did I sign up to be a rewards member when the staff does not know the program. Absolutely disgusted!

Hello my wife and I bought this past April 2020 a four chair dining set Madison Espresso brand for good decent price and within only 6 months two of the chairs back rest part are literally broken and came apart, the only thing it’s holding in place it’s the Upholstered materialSo needless to say it’s very bad quality material along with the table one leg it’s laterally crack and broken soon this $385.00 dollar dining set will be trash.My wife and I won’t recommend the furniture they sell in any Big Lots locationIt’s not worthy wasting your money.

Every time that I’ve been to this place the staff is always very nice, helpful and friendly. They have good prices and their stock is always changing. I try to go at least once or twice a month. They don’t have any refrigerated food or dairy products like they used to but they still have a great variety of dry and canned food. The prices on pet food are good. I noticed they only have food for cats and dogs. They have great prices on home decor. One thing I have noticed is that they usually have the same furniture for a while so i checked out their prices and I noticed that it’s almost retail price so I think that’s why it’s there for a while but that’s just my opinion.
