This place is a fantastic bike shop. The staff is insanely attentive, patient and kind. The mechanics are knowledgeable and fast. I recommend this spot whole heartedly. Jake the mechanic fixed my ride up so well and earned a customer for life.

I’m from out of town, showed up to rent a bike. In less than 15 mins I was out the door with a great bike, helmet, lock, and free local knowledge of where to bike to and what streets to use. Excellent customer service, thanks for the tips!

i’ve been a customer of this shop for about 18 years. this review is for their service department.i had a brand new made to order steel frame that needed a chris king bottom bracket installed. the BB has a large cup size (threadfit 30) that requires a special tool….one that i didn’t have at the time. they charged me $30 for the install.i built my bike up and got half way up Emma. i heard the creaking and grinding from the BB and also started to feel it through the pedals. it was focking horrible and cringe inducing. i stopped to examine and found that both of the BB cups were loose. now of course i felt the cups before i continued my build, but with not having the tool, i couldn’t really test it. i trusted the bike trip to install the $200 bottom bracket to spec….with 40 Nm of torque. clearly that didn’t happen. now i’m wondering if my brand new bottom bracket’s bearings are now also toast.in the past, i’ve known all the service managers and wrenches and felt very confident in the level of skill and care provided to my bikes. that is no longer the case. i don’t think i’ll let anyone from there touch my bikes again unless Nate or old Phil come back. it’s a shame too cause they are my closest bike shop.bu hao
