Went to BevMo because I was gifted a gift card. Truth is I wouldn’t have gone for any other reason if I didn’t want to spend what I had on the card. It wasn’t a terrible experience. Nothing wrong or outrageous happened. I just have no incentive to return. I bought a bottle of tequila to make margaritas for a themed zoom birthday party. I could have bought the same tequila for probably the same price without the extra trip at my grocery store. If I were a big drinker I’d probably make it a regular stop. But as it is I’d probably prefer cash that I can spend anywhere over a gift card that I can only spend one place. Or better… A bottle of tequila.
