Sadly they have lost my business. I’ve brought all my vehicles to them for my smog check, and my recent visit resulted in a failed test. Not their fault it failed, but their quoting me $250 to fix a $30 part that would take all of 30 mins to fix seemed a bit of a gouge. Being something I could easily fix myself, I asked if I could bring my car back for a free recheck and they said yes only if I paid them to do the work. They stated that is pretty standard policy for all smog service stations, so I looked it up. Not only could I get a smog check elsewhere for half the price, but they would guarantee a free recheck if it didn’t pass.
