For 35 years we have been a successful brick & mortar cutlery store in West Texas. However, with changes in the retail business, we’ve found it necessary to move into the online world. My son and I have always enjoyed coming to bear claw. Even when it was in big spring. Now when we drive to Midland we try to stop by and see what’s new. I made a purchase a few days ago and couldn’t be happier. The store price even beat amazon price. They have a cool little room with various olive oils that looks amazing.

I like pocket knives, and almost always have one on me. I’ve been asked several times what I would recommend. I recommend locals go to Bear Claw and pick out something they like in their price range. This shop has an exceptionally good stock of quality products, pocket knives, fixed blades, excellent kitchen knives and cookware. Every employee I’ve dealt with is very well versed in their products, and can make great recommendations.I’m very fond of Bear Claw, it is an exceptionally good cutlery shop. Prices are a little high, to be fair, but the service and selection, as well as having a stock that I respect well enough I recommend anything they sell, is a very rare trait. You may find a better deal, but you’ll not find a better curated selection.
