Over priced paraphernalia and grumpy employees.

My favorite shop of its kind outside Mexico. In fact, this wonderful store sells housewares, art, books, jewelry and clothing from many countries but everything exudes a Mexican vibe. What makes the place really special is how beautifully all the items are curated. You’ll find very high quality things and incredibly beautiful as well. The emphasis is on authenticity and craftsmanship. Nothing is dirt cheap but many things are very affordable. They also have sales, like Christmas ornaments right after the holidays.I’ve always found the sales people to be super nice and helpful. The place is laid out like a mini-mall with separate shops specializing in different things. The largest shop is for housewares: linens, bedding, fabrics, ceramics, kitchenwares, etc. Free parking right outside is ample and you’re right at Old Town so there’s lots of nearby attractions and eateries. Really, Bazaar del Mundo is so lovely and colorful I get a lift just by coming in.

This is a great place for South American textiles, clothing and home wares. Very bright and vibrant setup made me so excited to see everything!

I love Bazaar Del Mundo. I miss it being in the center of Old Town. But I am so glad it stayed after the changes took place.
