I’m so happy to have discovered this place. Its got a very Arthur Ave. Little Italy vibe going on but BETTER. Their sandwiches and hot food are and reasonably priced. Their fresh breads are also good as are their sweet fennel sausages. A must try!

Must admit that although a bit more pricey than some of the larger chain supermarkets in the area; this slowly but surely aging 71 year old senior citizen is learning to increasingly recognize the advantages of local supermarkets such as Battaglia’s advantages of their great food selection and customer service… and so my local supermarket, you will definitely be seeing me more and more in the future.

Great old school deli with an awesome selection. They also have a hot plate bar. Service is great, place is a bit crowded because of everything they stuffed into it such as groceries and produce but if you’re looking for a great old school Italian sandwich, this is your place!
