I thought about giving less stars but that’s not fair to the other great sales associates. I made an order online to pick up in store. I got to the store 15 minutes after they opened and was greeted by the male sales associate at the door. He asked if I wanted a spritz of hand sanitizer and welcomed me in the store. I said thank you and entered and let him know that I had an online order to pick up. He then asked me to step out of the store, that I needed to wait outside because they don’t want online customers in the store. I understand that they are at limited capacity but there was no one in the store as they had just opened 15 minutes prior. I informed the sales associate that the other day when I picked up an order they welcomed me into the store and I ended up purchasing more than I ordered online. The sales associate then tells me I can wait outside for my order but once I have it I am welcome to come inside and shop more. I did want to pick up some more wallflowers today in the store but that sale will be made at another store now and I don’t think I will ever go back to the Otay ranch store in the future. There are two stores closer to me yet I came all the way out to one that refused a sale. Disappointing.
