I am a frequent visitor of Marshalls as my car sitting alone like a heart broken lover on a street crossing since November ( needs rack and pinion) I take the advantage of City buses when got bored specially the days I m off from my dialysis schedule .My favorite spot 48 st and Northern Blvd with $ 1:50 and a free transfer I can get to Old Navy , Marshalls Stop e shop BJs and even Burlington Coat factory ..last few weeks I did notice that Marshalls is too crowded but the items or say merchandise we used to find are now a either not available or the quality of available product is down .Still for frequent visitors there are chances if at right time they can find some good deals ..let’s come to that particular day .I had to pick my rocket blender 8 piece from Best buy which I did find on deal of the day for just $ 9:99 .( What a deal it was when at home the box was opened two cups and two blades for grinding and blending superb performance for smoothies and coffee and Indian whole spice grinding) .next stop old navy .. Right inside at the front door two huge boxes luring customers with $ 1 sign .. the 5 piece Mask set which originally sold for $ 12:50 was now for a dollar yes yes just for $1 ..grab 10 packs all in different beautiful patterns ( for my nursing staff ) .at register the total was 12:50 × 10 = $125 but after discount it was $ 10 and as there was a $5 previous credit it cost $ 5: 50 ..Next stop My favorite Marshalls .as usual was so crowded that no shopping cart was available and few customers were already waiting for .start my journey from different narrow cannal like rows clothes hanging both banks .find nothing superb ( since corona era started the manufacturers have lowered the quality of products specially clothing ) .after spending 20 minutes and a full round up . follow the brain navigation and stoped at Stop and Shop . this place always have some great deals .today 4 coke 12 cane box for $11 and 4 minutes Maid punch for $5 was super deals but as I take bus going back home I could not upload that deal in my shoulder bag and just got apple cider and salad kind of things .paid check the load and walk towards bus stop at Northern .sit at the bench and wait for the bus ( the problem with this Q66 bus is either you are traveling east bound ( flushing) or west ( Queen plaza) you got to wait some times very long . either 3 buses comes together or no one shows up for 30 minutes ) .sit for about. 15 minutes suddenly a friend call ( who is among thousands of those enjoying free unemployment money and don’t want to work ) he said he wants few T shirts and sport trousers as he got too much wait and want to join Jim and impress some sexy ladies with his choice of clothing .I told him right now Marshalls have nothing to offer him any stylish stuff to fill full his unemployed driven desire .but if he picks me up from this bus Stop we can go Stienway street and try at Gap , Banana Republic and Express . He agreed and I saved $ 1:50 for the bus fare when I sit in his Corolla front
