A Place for Little Sprouts to Grow
I really wanted to like Bagels and Cakes. The ambient was on its way there. I really loved the hanging globes in the hallway by the bathroom. The table also had squishy, comfortable chairs and fun trivia cards. However, the fruit in the fruit cup was not fresh, and our exchange for something fresher was equally as disappointing. Our table was also disgustingly sticky. I ordered the avocado toast, which was OK, but I would not say it was as impressive as my bill. I was also really turned off by the sign on the door asking people to be patient with the staff that had shown up because people don’t want to work. Well, that’s super unmotivating for anyone that does come come in to work and repelling to those that visit.

Limited bagel/breakfast food options make this place seem pretty good. I wish management would be better about staff hiring, they have issues with staff not showing up or lacking general friendliness. They should also allow tipping on card payments, such a simple thing to add in for staff. I wish this place well and hope they step it up, up to the owner/manager for change.

Very tasty bagel sandwich, and awesome quesadilla. Thier smoothies are delicious as well. Just have to be patient with some wait times.
