Highly recommend baby & kids 1st!! I have always found all the staff to be extremely knowledgeable and even more helpful!! They always take excellent care of me and answer all of my questions, they have never steered me wrong. Stefan specifically is amazing!! He has helped me with multiple big decisions (stroller, car seat, etc). He will go out of his way to help me every time I’m there and is also such a pleasant human being. You can tell he puts his whole heart into helping people!! Thank you Stefan for being so wonderful!! I will surely be back and also will be recommending this place to all my loved ones.

This place is wonderful. Let’s face it, with the internets why would you ‘go’ shopping? Here’s why: Car Seat Mari. Leading baby brands’ prices are about the same everywhere. What makes Baby’s & Kids 1st stand out is that their staff is EXTRAORDINARILY knowledgeable. Mari & Jaime are the Stephen Hawkings of the car seat universe.After visiting baby stores throughout Houston, this is our favorite. Big box retailers’ staff lack any expertise of what they sell. An example, we bought our crib from Pottery Barn Kids, & when it came to our mattress, we just got a standard mattress. When walking around Baby’s & Kids 1st, a helpful employee gave us a 5-minute lecture on which we should have chosen and why. Would have been great to have at Pottery Barn Kids.The car seat might as well as been an alien object to me, but Jaime was an excellent teacher who showed my wife & I the ends & outs and frankly made me less nervous. Plus, with the free seat install, etc. literally saved us hours of trial & error.If you must go baby shopping, this is the place.

I bought a very nice crib/convertible bed from them for my grand daughter about three years ago. The sales people were nice, and everything was done efficiently.Since my grand daughter is now 2.5 or so, we needed to buy a car seat for her in order to pick her up from her parents to bring her to our house on occasions. Since we live very far away, the purchasing was done via the telephone. The sales guy, Adrian, was quite helpful. We used the service that’s included with a car seat purchase for them to install the car seat. The installation was very efficient. The installer, Stephan, was awesome. He showed us all the important stuff for installing it, how to adjust the belts, and what to watch out for.
