We can also custom build a bareback saddle with a flexible tree that will fit any horse.

I went to see Colin with a friend. She was looking for a new saddle and I wanted a few upgrades to mine, a beautiful Fox Poley Colin made 15 years ago and I purchased used from a private party. He was kind, knowledgable, honest and charming. He truly took time to be sure each of us had the right fit and equipment, without trying to sell us on anything. It was like buying from an old friend. Afterward, Colin came out to our barn and took the time to be sure our saddles fit our horses. Watching him with my green gelding was even greater validation – Colin was so patient and gentle with him. He is truly an expert and I couldn’t be more pleased with the entire experience. Two and half years ago, I bought a beautiful new Aussie Saddle from Colin and it fit my quarter horse perfectly after I provided him with drawings and photos of my horse’s back. He is a warm and charming person who has continued to be a friend to me. It saddens me that these negative reviews are posted when you have not walked in this man’s shoes. He has been caring for his wife of 30 years who has Dementia for 6 years, so his place may not be organized or clean because other priorities take precedence. I can NOT imagine Colin ever yelling at anyone! I do know he had a couple crazy ladies caring for his wife and they began extorting money and were asked to leave the property. These bad reviews maybe linked to those unsavory ladies.
