I went this the ATT store on 05/13/21 after two hours on the phone with very unhelpful people who told me false information multiple times.The gentleman working at the store was extremely helpful and polite. He helped me with everything I needed and didn’t feed me any false information. He is by far the best interaction I’ve had at ATT. Give him a raise or promotion ASAP

If I could give this place ZERO stars, I would for the poorest customer service experience I have ever had at an AT&T store. My father is currently in the hosptial and will be there for a very long time. Unfortunately, his current phone stopped working and he needed a new one as soon as possible! I tried initially calling AT&T so my father could order a phone but after 1.5 hours of waiting to talk to a real human, we hung up. Our next resort was for me to go into the store myself with him on the other line. I came to this location because of all the great reviews regarding customer service. There was a young man who greeted me. I began explaining to him our dilemma and before I could finish, he stopped me midway and said, your father will need to physically come into the store to get a new phone! I was a little taken back because he didn’t let me even finish. I guess he didn’t hear me when I said my dad was in the hosptial and there’s NO WAY he can get out! I told him this again and he said, in an annoying fashion, and as if I were a bother that he will need to come in himself. I had my dad on the phone listening to the entire conversation. I was so upset and told him, again, my dad is currently on the phone, can he buy one now? What do you need from us? He said, again no he has to come in. By this point I was a little irritated because he wasn’t hearing me. So I said, how can my father come in when he’s at the hosptial and will be there for a very long time. The next thing this joker said to me was, well he can go online and have it shipped to him. I said, shipped to the hosptial??? He said, umm yea!…I said with eyebrows raised, how can he have something shipped to him, like a phone, to the hosptial? The only thing he can do at this point is turn it on and make a call! He basically shrugged his shoulders and didn’t give me any other options. I was so irate I told my dad to just go with a different carrier! AT&T’s customer service or lack thereof has gone down and after being customer for nearly 30 years we were going to make the switch. My dad also worked for AT&T for nearly 20 years as a cell tower tech! I asked for the manager and he said he was the manager and that was that! I told him, how can you treat a customer who has been so loyal like this! He just looked at me and I walked out! I did not yell at himNot one bit, but my tone may have come across a little passionate. I was upset but I never disrespected him.Thank goodness I didn’t want to fully give upBecause I went to ANOTHER AT&T store in Round Rock by i35 and the toll and this AMAZING rep listened to my story and gave me other OPTIONS on how I can get my phone to my dad WITHOUT my dad being present! That is all I was looking for! If you tell me NO, then try and find a way to YES without breaking the rules!!!! We basically had to order it through the app, make me an authorized user, pick it up and bam, problem Solved!Thanks to the rep at the AT&T store in Round Rock for giving me the options and for the gentlemen at the store in San Antonio off of Potranco/211 for setting it all up! I told these two reps of the manager at this location and they apologized on his behalf! This manager certainly needs more training on customer service and what NOT to do in this situation! Take note from the other two and do better! I get you have to follow the rules, but you should give the customers options if there are any, as it was in this case!!!!!!
