Really great food! I was actually pleasantly surprised with the quality of food and the variety that was offered. It really does emanate that old time general store feel—very authentic. The owners have gone to great lengths to preserve that vibe, which is really cool! But the food, that was the total shocker. It is highly recommended. The store itself has an eclectic collection of this and that, nickel-and-dime-type candy/toy selection, but also quality pieces of earthenware, kitchenware, gifts, etc. This place is a hidden gem! It’s too bad they sell alcohol there. We did experience a drunk in the middle of the day who was very boisterous and disruptive. He actually scared the kids and they wanted to go.

One of the best subs I’ve had in the Southern tier, only place that comes close is out in Rochester. Don’t be confused by the odd names of their subs and other menu items, the weird names are just part of the fun. They make so much right in house the quality is hard to find anywhere else in the area. Overall an amazing place for subs and salads.
