My quest to create the perfect tropical garden in Southern California continues. Today, I visited the San Juan Capistrano branch of Armstrong Garden Centers, My fourth this week. This was the grandest of the four that I visited. It’s larger and it has greater selection than the centers in Newport Beach, Costa Mesa, and Irvine. It was nice to walk around and look at all the plants and the pots and other garden supplies. I haven’t been able to do that in so long. So after a leisurely time looking at everything, I picked out some impatiens, some lettuce and a basil plant. I also got some Miracle Grow and some neem oil spray. The thing that’s really convenient about Armstrong Garden Centers is that they have all the little extras and some cute gifts, too. I didn’t need any help today, but if I had, there were plenty of people to help.
