Great staff, professional and courteous! Very clean store and easy to navigate. They take great care of the plants and overall look so it makes it easy to find anything …

This store has beautiful selection of plants. Manager Jesse, quite the opposite. We customers pay premium to shop at Armstrong compared to the Home Depot(although during pandemic, you notice Home Depot garden center’s selections became beautiful, large and less expensive). With good return policy so the Armstrong says and lures you in to sign up in their system and you expect to find beautiful plants. BUT when it comes time your plants die, Armstrong does their best denying returns. I have experiences that few of employees were not-so-knowledgeable with identifying plants and just find similar ones on your purchase list and scan for return. Hence, when you return the actual plant, they will say it is already returned. And if you’re unlucky to run into the manager Jesse, he will sigh and argue on returns without asking these sort of details from his employees and ask you literally ‘WHY ARE YOU STILL HERE? CAN I WALK YOU OUT?’ on customer’s face. It’s revolting to read his welcoming message on the website and offend the customers in person. We’re all burned out from pandemic and do not need to experience these. We visit nurseries to bring plants home to heal our souls and nurture them in return, not to get yelled at.

One of my favorite spots as a newly outdoor plant enthousiast! Amazing selection of outdoor plants and all kinds of accessories. It’s got a great vibe all around – expect to see butterflies and parrots. Their plants range from small succulents to massive olive trees and everything in between. From sun-loving plants to shade plants and from petounias to rasberry trees. Somewhat on the expensive side though and not great customer service. I would definitely recommend!

I relocated from Boston a little over two years ago and missed the garden centers (like Mahoney’s). I was super happy today when I discovered Armstrong’s; it’s got helpful staff, a full array of soil amendments, a great selection of indoor and outdoor plants, bird feeders, patio furniture, gifts and a great selection of indoor and outdoor pots at reasonable prices. Some of the house plants seemed over priced, but others were similar in price to big box stores. That being said, the plants that seemed expensive to me are ones I have had for about 10 years, and brought with me from the east coast. This is going to be my preferred local gardening center.
