They work slow, make customers wait for too long and don’t solve the problems!

Had the best experience ever with John at the Promenade Apple Store. Went in with my broken laptop and old phone and was able to get a great deal on a new MacBook Air. John not only did a great job helping me in my purchase, he also saw how exhausted I was after a long day of work and he made sure to get me in and out as quickly as possible. I’ll definitely be back!

I have had success popping in to buy small items in the past, but I went to get a Apple Watch on my way to my bike ride yesterday. I stood in line at the door for the greeter, but then the door person herded me into the store – told me to go in. Then, I walked back to the watches to see if the one I wanted was there.. and a salesperson asked if they could help. I said yes, I wanted a watch. He said to keep my distance because the pandemic is not over yet – I had gotten within 3 feet of him due to the noise atmosphere, so I backed off. Then he got really distracted because a guy was standing in front of his station and I just had to wait as he watched this guy and eventually as we watched and watched, and he muttered that it’s his station, and the customer in his space was just picking up his computer, but standing there on his phone. Anyhow, wait, wait, wait…. and then finally the salesperson said I have to go and make an appointment and points back to the line at the door that I had just been herded out of! Arrrrrgh! And he said something about needing an appointment for some things and something about heroes? The entire thing just seemed like no one was being friendly and they didn’t really want my business, just needed us all to wait around? (he has time to ask if he can help me but he doesn’t have time to sell me my watch‽) so I left and I am looking into different brand fitness watches. Not sure that this store really cares about customers – they probably have too many.

Standard apple store, a guess the place makes it better. You know what I mean
