Went there today and was VERY disappointed with the integrity of the owner ( or employee). I retired Years ago and was wondering what the new MREs were like.I asked the owner if he had any MREs for sale and he pulled out a box with some clear sealed bags in them.There were some items inside that resembled what I remembered MREs to look like. As I couldn’t of course open the bag to examine them I took his word that he was selling me an actual MRE that had simple been repackaged.I should have known it was NOT an MRE because the one Course in it was what appeared to be a Civilian Packaged Chili meal.He gave me an MRE heater ( Which didnt work later) when I got home and opened the package it was plain to see he had put a few accessories , Salt, Pepper a drink mix and an actual MRE jelly pack in the bag and pawned it off as a individual MRE. It was not expensive ) only 7.50m but it ticked ne off he lied about what it was.
