Cool hole in the wall type place. Ordered the Popeye and a burger. The burger had really no taste. The Popeye… the tacos were not bad, enchiladas were ok. The beans and rice were disgusting. Beans had a weird taste. The rice was unrecognizable. I left most of the meal. This place did not live up to some of the reviews. Maybe should have ordered the fish or chicken fried steak. Very nice staff.

Definitely a hidden gem. Although the building looks like an old convenience store from the road, it houses a warm friendly restaurant with freshly prepared texmex. My crew and I ate there 2 nights in a row. Every entree was tasty. The owners were present each night and the atmosphere was warm and friendly. The staff was patient to get every detail of all of our orders correct. The next time I am in the area I will be stopping by.

I ordered the special, it was fantastic, went there hungry and had enough leftovers for lunch the next day. The service was on point, waitress had a great personality. All in all a good place to go if you are in Crystal City.
