It was a very nice transition from their last location, I don’t mean to give it 4 stars, I would give it 5 but my social anxiety (me personally on this day) kept me from enjoying it to the fullest, but Amoeba is one of my favorite places on earth.

Amoeba Music’s new West Hollywood location is a dream for music lovers. The walls of the store are adorned with band posters, neon art, and vinyl records, creating a punky ambiance. On my trip, we ended up purchasing a The Smiths shirt and a collection of Allen Ginsberg’s poetry. While Amoeba’s line often stretches down the city block, we went on early Wednesday afternoon and was able to walk right in. This local record store really allows customers to feel connected to the physical music they’re buying, as opposed to today’s streaming apps. Amoeba has something for everyone, and we would definitely recommend checking out the new location.
