This review is purely based on the product and not the service. The product I paid for had every protection possible because I don’t have the best eyes and I like glasses that last a long time. I work on the computer for many hours for my job and I don’t wear contacts. Within two months there are several permanent scratches on the lens. I am not careless or irresponsible in the slightest. There is also a staining around the nose piece that has increasingly become noticeable since purchase and the frames themselves became loose on one side and stiff on the other.Overall, I am not satisfied with the product I paid for which was right around the $350 value for the two pairs I purchased. Service itself was excellent though and very safe as far as Covid-19 is concerned, but I will most likely go to Costco on my next pair given the quality of the product.

Receptionist/front desk girl has a terrible attitude and makes us not want to come back to this location again. Her demeanor is very rude, as if she had a bad day and is taking it out on the clients. We couldn’t even ask for her a simple question about the prescription without getting a snarky “are you dumb?” reply instead of a polite or at least civilized answer. Lady doctor on the other hand was great, as well as the other staff.

the receptionist/front desk gal is actually the most terrible person i’ve ever interacted with. i recall i had an appointment at the top of the hour, i was 7 minutes late (enroute in the car) and i received a call from the receptionist telling me that i had to reschedule my appointment (which already has a 2 week lead time) because i was late by 7 minutes. it absolutely disgusted me and i refuse to go back to this vendor. I now go to Larchmont Optometrics and I have a wonderful experience at Larchmont Optometrics! AVOID america’s best contacts & eyeglasses, go to LARCHMONT OPTOMETRICS if your insurance supports it instead!!
