Aldi sells a variety of groceries that are reasonable price. They have limited amount of meat in the frozen section. I don’t buy frozen fish from Aldi because it is imported from China. The prices are not bad but I can’t risk my health to eat or buy fish that is labeled product of China.

Any grocery store that is this cheap in the NYC metropolitan area gets five stars. Quality is hit or miss, but if you stick to the more expensive items you’ll end up with the quality of the name brands for prices they can’t even touch at any of the main chains. Returns are very easy as well if you don’t like the items you receive, and there are some awesome hidden gems here and there. Surprisingly some of the non-food items are pretty good for the price — their microfleece blankets have served me much better than the more expensive ones I got from another store. Recommended!
