Learned the hard way about the pitfalls buying off a used lot. I thought I did the proper research and history check but in the end I was sold a rebuilt car that had seen multiple accidents. The car broke down on me the day i drove it off the lot, had it towed & repaired before i could even get home. They were less than sympathetic once they had my money; avoiding calls, they would do or say nothing in writing/email(shady). What followed was month after month of new problems that ultimately cost me about half the value of what I paid for the car. They’ll try to sell you a warranty from a third party in an attempt to ad more value, but not once was the warranty honored or applicable. In the end I sold it off at a huge loss just to get it out of my life. Buyer beware. This was 2 years ago, I’m only sharing now because the trauma of the experience has finally subsided. Avoid the nightmare and buy from a trusted/certified re-seller.
