I would like to personally thank Charly for helping me with my horn issue. I went in needing help with figuring exactly what I need. Charly lent me the store tools to finish the job and was out in less than a nick of time!!!

Most of the staff there are not helpful one bit including the manager. Never thought I’d have to be that guy to call corporate to settle an issue over a battery….Update: So I get an email from the owner to reach out to discuss my issue yet I’m not sure how you want people to reach out. But here’s my issue.. or what was my issue til corporate took over. Sorry its long.May 2019 I bought an Optima battery online and picked up in store. This battery has a 3 year free replacement warranty. When I picked up the battery the date sticker on the battery said 09/17 and I asked if thats ok with the warranty for the future. The employee at that time said yeah everything’s in the system.. October 2020 my vehicle is having issues starting on several occasions. One night with my 2 month old in the truck my truck dies at a gas pump.. I get a jump and head to Advance. Low and behold theres no record of my purchase… cause I bought online. Advance must be the only store that doesn’t link with other Advance AP stores/online. A week goes by I’m able to track down my order info from the website, I go in the Ranier location where I originally picked from back in May 2019 and spoke with Randy.. the manager… In my opinion the worst manger I’ve ever had to deal with anywhere. I attempt to tell him whats going on and all he does is look up the PART NUMBER on the battery…Randy: I have no record of that part number being sold around that date.ME: I have an order number, I ordered online and picked up here.Randy: ok but I have no record.Me: I have an order number…Randy: that does nothing for me. Whats the exact issue your having. As I explained to him whats the issue he cuts me off and says well this battery says 09/17 on the date sticker and I told him this is the battery that was given to me, it didn’t just appear on doorstep overnight. He then scans it to see if bad or not and says well it shows its fine but needs to be recharged most everyone know with Optima batteries you have to have a specialized charger to charge them.. kinda why theres a good warranty on them. In the end he refuse to help me out and look up my info and when I asked for a number to corporate (which I didn’t want to be that guy) he walks off to help someone else.
