Been coming to this store for about 4 years. All the shirts have held up & the patches still look great. Husband’s rugby shirt’s been washed alot. We thought the owner was funny. He was very patient while I picked out patches for a hat (gift) & a wool scarf I wanted…been wearing it all winter. Don’t remember any signs about food/drink (but most stores don’t want you to, so wouldn’t have noticed it).

I have to go back to the shop because the letters of my last name are falling off. The guy was nice, but he did get distracted a lot. He also was kinda of commanding. Other than that, he helped us out, the girl made a mistake, but the guy told me that my sweater would look more vintage since people used to hand-nit stuff. He also told us that the sweater could last five years and can be washed. So, try to get a size a little bigger so you can use it for a longer period of time. As a visitor to Lake Placid, I think it is something worth doing. Don’t put too many patches on though, like me, I put two patches on both arms and a couple on the front. Also he can add your last name a sport or hockey number. That’s all, bye.
