We feel it is important to stay open to serve our customers during this challenging time and are working to do that as safely as possible. Most of the time they have what you are looking for. It’s a 50/50 chance you will find what you are looking for. Maybe because of COVID-19 they have nobody on the sale floor to help you with anything.

Yes..one star because I am disappointed they would not exchange a rod that broke with 8 pound test line. I actually bought two of them. I bought my gun there, shoes and much more. Even my Pit Boss smoker. I will be spending my money elsewhere.

I favor transparency & unbiased critiques first and foremost; with that being said, my recent experience at Academy Sports & Outdoors was a pleasant one. For the most part, they have what you are looking for with an impressive array of merchandise, clothing, shoe’s, boots & accessories just to name a few.My only complaints are due in large part of the laxed COVID-19 mask policies. I personally don’t understand why customers are allowed in this store without masks while we are still realistically in a pandemic. Several people without masks acting like nothings wrong. Also the prices are steep and the discounts are miniscule at best.In conclusion; Academy Sports & Outdoors accommodate the sports & outdoor enthusiasts with a variety of options to choose from.
