Mike Dickey and Absolute Best Flooring are fantastic! I interviewed several contractors before renovating my house. I chose Mike because he had great reviews and provided a very competitive bid. The work included replacing my downstairs flooring and baseboards, replacing countertops in my bathroom, kitchen and bar, tiling my fireplace, and installing sinks in my kitchen, far, bathroom, and laundry room. He provided some materials at a very competitive price, and also used some that I provided. Flooring included porcelain wood tile, porcelain travertine, and engineered hardwood. Some baseboards needed to wrap around my curved staircase. Every element of the work was first rate, completed to perfection. We ran into a couple unexpected difficulties (as happens)—Mike took them in stride and everything was resolved very quickly and fairly. He and his workers were all true professionals. Everything was completed according to schedule. He’s honest, dedicated to excellence, very positive, and a great communicator. I’m so glad I contracted Mike and would do it again in a minute.

Thank you Absolute Best Flooring for the AWESOME flooring that you installed.I can not ask for any better service that what this company offers.Check out this place first before going anywhere.I had purchased 900 sq ft of flooring from LOWES and the floors did not even last a year. Tried to use the warranty and Lowes and the flooring company denied the claim and said it was the my fault. The flooring was coming up and started to peel. We followed the guidelines from Lowes and yet they turned their back on me. I lost $4,000 by doing business with LOWES.That is why it’s important to check out Absolute Best Flooring before going with anyone. Trust me you won’t regret it.I went to Absolute Best Flooring and they did nothing but took AMAZING care of me. If you have a type of issues Mike is on it getting a resolution to fix the problem. The service was so amazing my family and I are going back through Absolute Best Flooring for my quartz or granite countertops.Thanks ABSOLUTE BEST FLOORING for everything you have done.

In August 2020, I went into Absolute Best flooring and spoke directly to the owner Mike Dickey. I advised Mike on several occasions that I wished to purchase a full carpet roll for my home so that the color would be from the same dye-lot. After the gentlemen came out and measured the area’s that were to be carpeted, Mike advise me that the original color I choose would not be in stock until the first week of September. Upon Mike’s suggestion, I went with an alternate color that he had in stock and was advised that there was plenty to do my entire home. After putting down the deposit, the gentlemen did install the first half in a timely manner and the carpet was beautiful. HERE’S THE PROBLEM. I was advised that the next installment would be the week of 08/24/2020 at the latest. After leaving another deposit, I was then advised by Mike that the carpet would not be to him until 09/10/2020. How is this possible if the carpet I chose was in stock?. I did speak to Mike to inquire but was informed that he misunderstood my request. I believe that my carpet was sold to someone else for a bigger job. Therefore, I would have to wait until possibly 09/15/2020 for the next install. Not sure what happened here but this was VERY upsetting. I went back to retrieve my deposit and elected to have the remainder of my house done by a different carpet company. In conclusion, It is very important to understand the customer’s needs and clarify them prior to making a commitment on a job.
