I called the store one morning to get an estimate on how much it would be to get my trumpet cleaned and dents removed. The man(Brian?) told me about 105 but it would depend on the amount of damage so he would have to see it. Fair enough. But already i was hopeful as i was under the impression this procedure would cost me much much more. I went in later that morning to get it checked out and he told me 120. I said really? (That’s awesome) and that’s everything valve’s and all? I haven’t given my trumpet this kind of treatment in about 13-14 years so maybe that question wasn’t necessary but he was like yup we do a complete valve alignment. Great, he asked me when i needed it and i said anytime before the end if the week(it was Monday). He asked if Thursday was ok and i said that’s fine. NEXT MORNING(Tuesday) : Hi this is ___ from A&G music calling to let you know your trumpet is ready for pick up… ?? I go in and there it was and I could not be happier with it. Was it the same trumpet? Couldn’t be. Mind you, it wasn’t like i handed them a s***show to begin with, but the difference was still drastic. Now as far as the staff, this isn’t a convenience store or a Walmart. Don’t expect fake smiles and someone trying to sell u anything. It’s a workshop. If you have questions of course they’ll answer them and try to help you out. But it’s mostly quiet minus all the *tings* and *clangs*. Just in case you were wondering about the environment.

I’ve been going there for years, it hasn’t changed. The absolute quality and consistency is impeccable!! The vibe and even the smells reminds me of every band room I’ve ever been in…(spit&valve oil) i love it!!!! One time many years ago I had my daughter with me running errands and A&G were one of our stops our last stop actually. She was a great sport most of the day but she was starting to unravel. Long story short, I had to get her something at the end of the day. With not a lot of time or patience on both OUR parts ,A&G came thru!!! I got her a premium… SLIDE WHISTLE!!! ok.ok. I’ll buy it.. Now she did drive me nuts with it in the car, but it SAVED the day… Or at least the car ride home.. THANK YOU A&G!!! you all are the BEST!!!
