This strip of boutiques and eateries and hotels along Main Street is in Lake Placid. There is public parking with public bathrooms. They have a metered parking fee of 50cent per hour. All shops are locally owned. Stores were very nice and staffs were friendly. If you are tired of shopping or want to just enjoy the mountain view, there is a public grassy knoll with a few adorandacks chairs to sit. You have a nice view of Mirror Lake. We spent 3 hours of hopping from store but you could spend all day here. There were shoe store, outdoor clothing store, coffee shops (local & brand), children store, book store, local restaurants and a public library.

More like a small indoor plaza or bazaar than a ‘mall’, it contains two must try eats in Lake Placid in both Wyatt’s and Eleanor’s. Together with other gift shops and interesting stores, it also has a coffee shop at the end of of the hall with nice views of Mirror lake.
