Went to pick up a regular monthly prescription, the person at the counter asked me to tell her what the prescription was for. After explaining that the prescription was for exactly what was shown on her computer screen, she insisted I had to verbally confirm the prescription. Essentially had to announce it to the 7-8 people standing nearby, waiting to drop-off or pick up their own prescriptions. This cannot be standard practice. Humiliating.

This CVS has decided not to allow access to the restrooms. This is unacceptable. It is unhygienic. Hand sanitizers do not kill all bacteria. For a place that dispenses prescriptions and prides themself on keeping you healthy, I beg to differ. Some people cannot use hand sanitizer because it irritates their skin. Nothing can replace washing your hands. It has been scientifically proven that washing your hands with soap and water is better than just using a hand sanitizer or a wipe.Everyone has a right to the restroom and to wash their hands. I encourage everyone to file a complaint with the Los Angeles county health department and Santa Monica code enforcement.
