Thank you, Charlie, for your excellent service, especially when my mother started explaining the rules of Codenames to you and then went on to explain in detail the clue I had given her in the previous round which was a very specific inside joke referring to her family name, leprechauns, and ghost stories. You are a gem of a person.I enjoyed the buttery Chardonnay and I don’t usually enjoy chards as a general rule. Same with the rosé – not generally my cup of tea, but it was perfect. Pure, unadulterated rosé. Just like the dinosaurs did it.Some of the best bathroom experiences I’ve ever had. Truly splendid. I would go again just to chill in there. Also, using grape vine roots as art is possibly my new favorite thing. I’m all for uplifting nature as art and incorporating organic materials into indoor surroundings. Nailed it.

Update: These guys do NOT stay open till 6pm, maybe 5:30?? So don’t go late.This is a straight up wine tasting place but I do think it is the best vineyard in the Ojai Valley. Wine tastings are great and their Syrah is top notch. Friendly courteous staff and you can have a glass of wine but this is this is NOT a wine bar, there is no food, and this is not a evening spot and it closes too early.
