I was extremely happy with my experience with Dr. Allamand and his staff. I had great pre op and have excellent post op care. Dr. Allamand performed my cataract surgeries, from arrival at the surgery center, and back home in approx 1 1/2 hours. No more glasses, although will wear readers. Will definitely recommend him.

Dr. Allaman was excellent. I trust his judgment and his skill, and I am very happy with the results of my cataract surgery and lens replacement (one eye only). I also have high myopia, presbyopia, borderline glaucoma, and have had a retinal hemorrhage in the past. My contact lens prescription was -16.0 and even that didn’t allow clear vision. I probably wouldn’t have kept my driver’s license for much longer. Now my left eye sees more clearly than the one still using a contact lens. I don’t mind at all now using readers for up close reading (we chose the single focal point lens for medical reasons), because I can see. The office visits were sometimes long, as the office is very busy, but everything happened that needed to happen, and the surgery itself was so easy! No pain, no discomfort at all, either during or after. I highly recommend this doctor. He is at the top of his game.
