They have a decent selection compared to the size of the store. They recently rearranged the items, it made better use of the space. They give discounts to local customers. They often give away gift cards. It’s the ONLY grocery store in W. Oakland.!! All of the service providers are very polite, always offering their assistance. A lot of the larger grocery stores make it hard to even get help, unless you look for a clerk & ask. Prices maybe a smidge higher, but it’s a smaller more personal experience. The clerks may not know your name, but they can usually recognize your face.

I love everything about this place! It’s got a great selection, including things you probably won’t find at a regular grocery. I especially love the flower to fruit products they sell, I buy the perfect papas every time I’m there. Not to mention the staff is absolutely amazing!
