To find the perfect recipe, you first need the perfect ingredients. And that’s what our founders Dena Tripp and Debbie Shwetz were for each other. In 1997, they joined forces, or better yet kitchens, to help make cakes to entertain their friends. The cakes they made were delicious, unlike anything anyone had tasted. As a result, their friends and family asked them to entertain more and more. They quickly realized this side project of theirs could be something more. There was a gap in the world for delicious cakes, readily available, that didn’t compromise on their ingredients. Fresh eggs, real butter, and real cream cheese; nothing was too good to achieve perfection.

I had a bad experience at this location. I called in to do a walk in for a 10 inch lemon cake (no decorations) and they told me it’s going to be ready in 15 mins. I drove to the location and went in to pick up the cake. The lady told me the cake is not ready and told me to wait another 15-20 minutes. No apologies, nothing. If you can’t do a walk in pick up (and I even called) than close the store. It’s really inconvenience to a customer when they have been waiting for their order. Honestly, when customers follow the rules the businesses should do the same as well. We are the once spending our money, without us there is no way your business will work.

We were heading to Newport Beach but the location in Newport closes early so we couldn’t book an on line pick up same day so this location was the next closest to our destination and it opened late.Every location has been the same to me from what it offers and their customer service. Except for their size and hours. Due to COVID, only two allowed at a time inside.If you’re ordering a dozen and customizing your order, I can’t stress enough about how easy it is to order on line. It’s fast, reliable, and convenient. Our order was ready at the front counter and we already paid in advanced.I also discovered that they offer a punch card!!! A stamp for every dozen ordered. Not sure if every location offers that because this card only lists three locations on the card. Regardless, i was ecstatic when I left.The seasonal flavor this month is pumpkin spice! Yum!

We got the Pecan Praline and it was delicious! The bread is moist and the frosting is cream cheese so the cake is not super sweet just perfect The price was fair.
