I shop thrift stores often and have no shame in gifting used items. One of my favorites are cookbooks. Many are in near perfect condition and cost a fraction ($0.99-$2.99) of bookstore prices ($9.99-$39.99). I just gave an organic baby food cookbook at a recent baby shower. I do the same for housewarmings, bridal showers and as a companion to cookware gifts. I’ve recently gifted several Instant Pots. I am always on the lookout for these particular cookbooks. I found 2 today. I will give these as holiday or birthday gifts to the people to whom I gave Instant Pots.

This is one of my favorite Goodwill stores. Lots of high-end items due to their donation Center location. Great parking too!!

One might expect collection hours to be the same as store hours. They are not. I would tell you when collections close (at least for Fridays) but that would be telling. Better to get there 1st and then be disappointed.
