Extremely disappointed with this T-mobile location. My family and I only come to this store because the customer service is always excellent. We’ve bought at least 7 phones here. My last visit was just as awesome as it always is. The employee (Blanca) was the one that helped me out. I told her I wanted to get a new phone. I mentioned I wanted the iPhone XR since it’s newer than the one I had and it’s affordable. I told her I only wanted to pay $25 a month for a new phone because that’s all I can afford. She completely understood. Then she explained that because the iPhone 12 would be released the following week, the iPhone 11 pro was going to cost me the same $25 as the XR. Of course I agreed to getting the newer phone for the same price. Who wouldn’t? I even asked her if she was sure it would only be $25 more to which she said yes. She proceeded to write down the calculations comparing both the XR and 11 pro. There was like a $20 difference which was nothing. They were out of the colors I preferred, they only had white available. I told her I wasn’t a fan and so she popped out her phone and once I saw it I didn’t mind. It wasn’t exactly white white. Anyways, we got everything transferred over and I was on my way. She said to give it some time for the promotion and the $100 discount for trading in my phone to reflect on the account. Mind you i’ve bought phones in the past and they always say that the system takes some time to reflect the changes. Understood. I waited 1 1/2 months until I started wondering why it wasn’t reflecting the changes. I called the store and the same employee Bianca answered. I told her if she remembered me, my mom, and sister who went with me. We were the last people in the store since it was almost closing time. I explained to her that the promotion still wasn’t reflected on the account. She then tried to remember because she didn’t remember. She then told me she didn’t remember saying that the iPhone 11 pro had a promotion (she only remembered that I would get the trade in discount). I was very upset that she refused to acknowledge what she had said I didn’t want to get her in trouble. I was just curious why it hadn’t reflected. She tells me to call when the manager is there to see what “he can do”. I called, he got my information and said he would investigate. Never did he call me back. Now i’m stuck paying $38 a month instead of the $25 I said I could afford. I loved her service which was why I had asked for her name on my way out of the store, so I could leave her an awesome review because she was able to tell me about the promotion in which I got a better phone than I expected to get. Well obviously she messed up and I think it’s a shame that she couldn’t admit she did. I understand mistakes happen, but why should I have to pay for a mistake that was not my fault. As a customer I am extremely disappointed with both Blanca and the manager for completely blowing me off as if I were lying. Especially during this time I really could only afford $25 not $38. Yes it’s only a $13 difference but it’s $300 more than what I would have paid for the XR when all is said and done.
