Honestly, it has been years since I’ve been to a Barnes & Nobles. An employee said Hello I a cheerful voice when we walked in.I remember they used to have a new age section with all kinds of interesting books, but now it is called the self transformation and the books in that section are so basic and boring. Like the new new age section has been censored or dumbed down compared to what I used to find 10 years ago. What was really cool though, is that they carry complete learn-a-new-language programs that are now only about fifty bucks! That was surprising. This Barnes & Nobles is an okay place if you happen to be in the neighborhood and just want to browse around… but if you are looking for that rare book, you may not want to waste your time coming to this store.

Went into the store to look for a large print book for my 91 year old mom. Found an employee passing by and asked where the large print section was, and he replied, Oh we don’t have a large print section, they’re mixed in all over. He did not offer to help me. So I spent about 20 minutes scouring the store and didn’t find a single large print book. Awful experience, I’m never shopping at this store again. I believe that it’s somewhat ageist, possibly discriminatory, not to have a large print book section.
