Our baristas will create a coffee experience that goes above and beyond what you will get from a chain or other local shops. We guarantee a consistent cup time and time again. Our coffee is locally roasted by Lakeside Coffee (Rouses Point, NY) and our custom espresso blend is the best you can find. Our maple products are provided by Sacred Roots Maple (West Chazy, NY). Our specialty syrups are made in-house and our pastries are provided by Rulfs Orchards (Peru, NY).

Sacred maple latte (hot or iced, doesn’t matter, both are great) and a molasses cookies = heaven. Great atmosphere and lovely staff. Always friendly and prompt service. They display local art and promote local artists. Plus, if you get the urge, you can buy or sell a house while you’re there. Seriously, this place beats the chain coffee shops by a mile.

Chapter One makes the best espresso I’ve ever tasted. Today, I ordered an Americano and was blown away by how smooth it was. The atmosphere is wonderful, and the baked goods available are also delicious. I will definitely be back soon!
