I figured I was screwed so I asked him when I could pick up the four tomorrow.

First off, the prices are very low: usually below even GoodRx.

The staff at Costco has never failed me. They give exceptional service. For me, the overall experience at Costco Pharmacy has been much better than my previous national pharmacy chain.

I think everyone is familiar with the feeling where you go to business and the impression you get is that the staff is annoyed you even came in. This was my experience at Costco Pharmacy. My Dr. phone in a prescription; I called the pharmacy to see when I could pick it up and was told the next day after 3pm.So the next day, at 3:30pm I go to the pharmacy and there were two people ahead of me in line. The one at the counter was having some sort of problems and it took a good while for him to leave. Then the guy in front of me went up and i could hear them telling him his prescription wasn’t ready and he was complaining that he had been told it would be ready by 2pm; so he went off in a huff. Then it was my turn.I asked for my prescription and the clerk was obviously bothered and told me to talk to the pharamcists because he didn’t know what was going on. So I went and spoke to one pharmacist who did her absolute best to ignore me; I finally got her attention and she looked me up. She said they didn’t have the prescription and that they only received it yesterday. She said it would be in the next day, however, my doctor had ordered 12 packages and they would only have 4 so I would have to come back each day for three days to get all 12. I thought this was insane and complained that I had been told the day before that I would be picking up all 12 today, not 4 tomorrow. At this point a guy in a white coat came over and said he had overhead my problem and that he was sorry for the miscommunication about when the prescription would be ready. I asked him if I could transfer it to the costo mail-order pharmacy and he said I couldn’t. I figured I was screwed so I asked him when I could pick up the four tomorrow. So then he springs on me I can’t do that; I have to wait for them to get all 12 so it will take about a week from the time the prescription was phoned in for me to get it.In case you missed it, this means the third person I talked to, the other pharmacist, also told me garbage; she said I could pick up 4 the next day. Had I shown up the next day, I would have been sent away again with NOTHING.I think these people are bozos and, even worse, they are rude bozos.

It took this pharmacy almost 10 hrs (many of which I was just sitting around in the Costco for) to process my prescriptions, AND the female pharmacist with an M name was incredibly rude. Every time I explained my prescription had lapsed a few times and it was very urgent, she laughed and said things don’t work that way. My grandmother who was sick was with me and told them she can’t just sit and wait and if they could call us, but the pharmacy said “just wait”Also- when they found out one of my medications was anti-anxiety the entire mood changed and they asked me questions like “you’re sure you’re ready for a refill, because the doctor will tell us”Like what????? The doctors the one that wrote it. You’re a pharmacist. You’re not an RN or even an LVN and it’s no business of yours when I should or shouldn’t get a refill. I felt violated. Why should I have to explain this? I was already having anxiety attacks, I didn’t need to feel like a criminal
