David’s Star Automotive performs New York State Inspections for Cars, Trucks, Motorcycles, Trailers, and SUV’s. Repairs and maintenance are our specialty. We do Brakes, Exhaust, Tires, Oil Changes, Tune Ups, air conditioning service, steering and suspension on domestic and many import vehicles. We perform diagnostic testing for check engine lights, abs lights, tpms and air bag lights. Our waiting room is comfortable and offers coffee, tea, hot chocolate and water. You will also find a variety of reading materials in the magazine rack and programs on the TV. If you like cats, then our Rusty Tech will keep you company while you wait for your car to be worked on. This is a good, honest shop. I have been here, and referred others including my daughter. Any negative reviews here are clearly from people that do not understand cars, or the automotive repair industry. Parts will always cost more at a shop because they are assuming liability if the part fails. This also means they won’t be using that super-cheap part from autozone. They want the repair to last and cheap parts fail more often.
