In the ’70’s Dave was working on bikes when he met Gary, helping him fix his old Honda. Today he rolls on one of his Evo’s. Either the softail chopper with an extended neck or the other set up as a Heritage style with a Fat Boy rear, ?A rather confused bike? Dave admits. When he started Wheel Works with Gary they grew the company by purchasing equipment and supplies from other shops that were closing. As President, he laces wheels and manages the crew. In his down time, he is off wheels completely floating his boat on the river with his charming wife.

Well it’s been a while since I bought tires here. Going to be awhile longer. They used to be fair on pricing way back when in the 80’s and 90’s. Been going elsewhere. Thought I’d give Dave another try.. But the quote I just got was $150 more than competitors for Dunlop American Elites. Please get back to some fair pricing Dave. Installation on the bike isn’t that hard. You guys have been selling & installing tires along time. You should have it down by now.

Everyone here was very pleasant and even worked to squeeze me in even though I came in a bit before closing. Nice, clean, welcoming. I don’t plan on my bike breaking, but I do plan on coming by again.
