Everything I have had there and I visited multiple times, was simply Delicious. Even the water has cucumber and lemon slices in it, which adds a certain refinement. Prices are average. You go and order yourselves then sit down and wait to be served. Quite a popular French little place You can also sit outside on the patio and enjoy the town activities…just like in Paris.

We came here all the way from Long Island, NY on a tip. We were not disappointed! The soups and salads burst with flavor. But we especially came for the almond croissant which was extraordinary. It was a croissant which had the consistency more like a muffin or soft pastry. The flavor was extraordinary as the almond flavor with every bite.

Wonderful staff, nice decor, good covid precautions, VERY hit and miss.My family and I have been meaning to try here for a while as it’s very pretty. We ordered the berry crepes, eggs benedict, roast beef club, a cold brew coffee, and a Rose coffee.We tried to order using the QR code left on the table. My phone wouldn’t register it, and my husband’s tablet wouldn’t let it add my order to my family’s. It just stalled out. So I went up front to order just mineThe berry crepe had lovely fresh fruit. My husband’s and son’s eggs benedict was adequate? Their potatoes were pretty obviously from a bag or some form of previously frozen. My husband said that the ham was thin, uniformly cut, and probably from a package. (He LOVES eggs benedict so he has high standards, esp when we have butchers here in Escondido).My sandwich was AWESOME. Thick avocado, great roast beef, just the right amount of bacon and a dash of mustard. My salad weirdly had a random raspberry in it? Like just one half crushed one that I sincerely doubt was supposed to be there. Also it wasn’t from the crepes next to me bc those were covered in chocolate sauce. I’m just mildly concerned about cross-contamination if someone has an allergy?My husband’s cold brew was great!The rose coffee? It tasted like drinking straight perfume. It was… overwhelming.I’d like to take this moment to really say how great the staff is though. They check by regular intervals and make sure to offer us all water the minute we sat down at a table. It was a really hot day. They kept appropriate distances and war masks and even were constantly changing out gloves. Also, when I mentioned how overpowering the coffee was they immediately tried to give it to me for free. Then they suggested replacing it with fresh squeezed orange juice. I’m glad I listened to them because the orange juice was delightful.The gents and ladies bathroom were both clean and it had a changing station.Maybe we just came in an off day?
