Slow Fiber is the best. I get questions about my custom masks all the time (one is selvidge denim, the other is a dope batman comic mask) I love that I’m buying local and that it’s sustainable fabrics. I keep thinking about going back there for custom work, if you’re into sustainability and you’re into fabrics, this is one of the coolest spots on the peninsula.

Great sew shop and so much more! The proprietor, Jaki, is very knowledgeable about mending, sewing and recycling clothes into custom creations of art. She has notions, fabrics, and yarns from sustainable, recycled, eco friendly, and trade friendly sources. So much care has gone into the selection of every beautiful item in her shop. She offers mending parties and sewing classes as well.

Jaki has the best ideas for up cycling your tired garments into something beautiful and fun. She has delightful kits to make your blue jeans sparkle with new life.Masks galore too
